Thank you for lighting the lamp...

You didn’t just subscribe.

You helped keep the light on.

That matters here more than I know how to say in one neat little paragraph, so I won’t try to make it sound polished when the truth is better plain: what you just did was generous. Not in the internet way. In the old way. In the human way. The kind where something good stays standing because somebody decided it should.

Lamp Holder is for the people who looked at this place and didn’t just want access to it. You wanted to help shelter it. You wanted the porch to stay lit for the next person who arrives tired, curious, heartsore, or not even fully sure what they came looking for.

That means you’re part of the keeping now.

Part of the warmth.
Part of the welcome.
Part of the quiet promise this place is trying to make.

I know there are a hundred easier ways to spend your money than on a strange, tender little world like this one. So I don’t take your yes lightly. Around here, it lands with weight. The good kind.

You are not standing outside the light.

You are one of the reasons it’s still here.

So from me, and from the boards, and from the rooms still waiting to open a little wider because people like you believed they should:

Thank you.

Settle in, Lamp Holder.
The ledger remembers.
And the porch does too.
