Porchlandia is a storyworld created by Brent Brooks.
It began with a porch, a little loneliness, and the sense that some places are more than settings. They listen. They remember. They make room for people before those people know they need room.
From that beginning grew a living world of stories, music, letters, radio, strange rooms, recurring meals, unlikely companions, and the kind of light that knows how to stay.
Some parts of Porchlandia are quiet and tender. Some are funny, chaotic, or deeply strange. Some feel like folklore. Some feel like home. All of it is built around the same belief: warmth is not weakness, imagination is not childish, and the best stories do more than entertain. They make a place inside you.
This site is where that world gathers.
Here you’ll find main-canon stories, side-door tales, Porchlandia Radio, songs, letters, and other offerings from the porch as it continues to grow. Some rooms are open to everyone. Some are for members who want to step further inside. But every room is part of the same world: one built for returning, for listening, and for the small miracle of feeling less alone.
Porchlandia is not interested in noise for its own sake. It is interested in atmosphere, memory, laughter, mystery, and the old-fashioned magic of being welcomed. It is a handmade place, built with care, curiosity, and a long view of what stories can hold.
If you’ve found your way here, pull up a chair.
The porch remembers.
